The Three Sacred Treasures (三種の神器 Sanshu no Jingi) were legendary items once possessed by Palutena, the goddess who reigns in Skyworld. The Treasures, residing in Sacred Caskets, are composed of the Arrow of Light, the Mirror Shield, and Wings of Pegasus. They were used to defeat Medusa 25 years ago, and were destroyed by Hades in Kid Icarus: Uprising.
When Medusa took over Angel Land, the three Treasures were stolen from Palutena's army and placed under the watch of Twinbellows, Hewdraw, and Pandora. Defeating them while invading their fortresses, Pit regains the treasures and uses them in his final battle with Medusa.
After learning of the upcoming invasion of "the Orcos," Pit and Palutena create a training plan so that Pit will be worthy enough to wear the Treasures against demons. In the event of Angel Land being attacked while Pit is away, she entrusts them each to a Fortress Guardian. Pit's quest is to work his way from the Under World Tower to The Sky Palace, increasing his skill and strength along the way. In the end, Palutena will always bless him with the Wings of Pegasus; depending on Pit's stats, she may or may not give him the Light Arrow or Silver Armor (which has replaced the Mirror Shield in this game).
To avoid the Treasures falling into the wrong hands, Palutena hides the Three Sacred Treasures within the Constellations. However, they are found by the Space Pirates, who steal constellations out of the night sky, and travel the Galactic Sea. After Pit retrieves the Treasures, he uses them to once more battle with Medusa. The Three Treasures are later used against Hades, but prove ineffective and are destroyed. Seeking help from Dyntos, the god of the forge, Pit is given the Great Sacred Treasure and uses it in the final battle against Hades, though it is also destroyed near the end of the battle.
The Three Sacred Treasures appear as Pit's Final Smash, where they are used to fire arrows of varying sizes, followed by beams of light that rain down onto Pit's foes.
Super Smash Bros. For 3DS (Three Sacred Treasures)The powerful treasures used to defeat Medusa, the Three Sacred Treasures include the Arrow of Light, Wings of Pegasus, and Mirror Shield. That reminds me of a bit of trivia: there are in real life Three Sacred Treasures in Japan, but they are a sword, a mirror, and a jewel.
Super Smash Bros. For Wii U (Three Sacred Treasures)
The Arrow of Light, the Wings of Pegasus, and the Mirror Shield—three legendary artifacts that Pit once used to defeat the evil Medusa. When you activate Pit's Final Smash, he can use them in this game too! After firing a barrage of different bow attacks, his final shot will cause powerful light pillars to rain down on the battlefield.
In battle, the Three Sacred Treasures can prove to be very powerful, as shown in Chapter 9 of Kid Icarus: Uprising. When equipped, the Three Sacred Treasures decrease walking speed, but attack-wise they are among the most balanced weapons in the game. The continuous fire from the Arrow of Light is weak but will automatically home in on enemies. Charged shots fired with the Arrow of Light have high homing ability as well, and its forward dashed charged shots will knock back foes. The backward-dash continuous fire fires a high-homing spreadshot as well, which can be very powerful if all five shots hit. The melee attacks do as much damage as the First Blade. One of the best features of the Three Sacred Treasures is the Mirror Shield, which can be used to block attacks in land battles. Another feature of the Three Sacred Treasures is that the Arrow of Light can destroy the normally invulnerable Ornes.
Three Sacred Treasures Case
In Pit's first adventure, the Three Sacred Treasures were divided among Hewdraw, Twinbellows, and Pandora, hidden in their fortresses to rob Palutena of her powers. Yet despite years of conflict, their container has held up surprisingly well.
