|Appearances||Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters|
|Attack(s)||Drops fireballs that expand into three pillars of flame at the point of impact|
Skull Wing's name is fairly descriptive; it's a humanoid skull with a pair of bat-like wings and a forked tail.
“A monster with only a skull and the wings of a bat.”
It flies lazily around its chamber, and Pit can easily find cover in the corners. Though its flight pattern is clockwise, it will often make short deviations. Once in a while, if Pit passes underneath it, it will drop a fireball that expands into three pillars of flame at the point of impact. Skull Wing has no other attacks and is easily dispatched, especially if Pit is armed with the Long Bow. After being reduced to half of its maximum health, Skull Wing's speed doubles and becomes much more fire-happy.
- Skull Wing shares similarities with the Bubble enemy from the Legend of Zelda franchise. Both are humanoid skulls that have bat-like wings and glowing eyes, with the only real difference being that Skull Wing has a tail.
