These claws are based on the spirit form of Pandora. Their backward-dash charged shot creates a barrier that offers good defense in Together mode. Their third melee strike can knock enemies into the air. Try using a backward-dash attack as foes fall.

In Kid Icarus: Uprising, it is possible to fuse two weapons into a new one. The stronger the weapons you use are, the stronger the result will be. Certain weapon modifiers from the old weapons have a chance of being transported to the new one. There are many pairs of weapons that can be fused into a Pandora Claws. The Pandora Claws can also be fused into many other weapons. Here are just a few examples.

The claws' attacks have varied effects; a normal charged shot will cause a big ghostly blue ball. A charged shot and a dash forward will cause a big ghostly red ball doing more damage than the blue one. A charged shot + dash backward will spawn Pandora and operate as a shield to protect you from attacks. However, it can do some damage too when enemies walk into it, although this won't happen a lot because the shield only lasts for a few seconds, making it relatively hard to use. When you dash to the right or to the left, Pit will fire two little blue balls at the enemies, which are also pretty strong.
The melee attacks may be a little less strong than most of the other claws, but they have a longer range in return.
Also, the third hit in the melee combo launches the opponents in Together mode, and thus can be linked with the backward charged shot for massive damage.
